1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the VP Web Studio website and any web development, design, or related services provided by Vimala Perumal, trading as VP Web Studio ("we", "us", "our"). By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services

VP Web Studio provides full stack web development services, including but not limited to business websites, e-commerce platforms, custom web applications, UI/UX design, SEO, hosting/deployment support, and website maintenance. The specific scope, timeline, and cost of any project are agreed separately with each client before work begins.

3. Project Engagements

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• Project scope, pricing, and payment schedule will be confirmed with the client prior to commencement
• Significant changes to project scope may affect timeline and cost, and will be discussed with the client
• Timelines are estimates and may vary based on client feedback turnaround, content readiness, and project complexity

4. Payments

Payment terms (deposits, milestones, final payment) are set out in the individual project agreement or quotation. Work may be paused if agreed payment milestones are not met.

5. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment for a completed project, ownership of the final delivered website/application transfers to the client, unless otherwise agreed. VP Web Studio retains the right to showcase completed work in its portfolio (as seen on the Projects page of this site) unless the client requests otherwise in writing. Third-party assets, plugins, themes, or licensed software used in a project remain subject to their own respective licenses.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing timely feedback, necessary content (text, images, branding assets), and access credentials required to complete a project. Delays in providing these may affect project timelines.

7. Website Use

This website and its content are provided for general informational purposes. You agree not to misuse this website, attempt unauthorised access to it, or use it in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functioning.

8. Limitation of Liability

While we take reasonable care in delivering our services, VP Web Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or from delivered projects, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business arising from third-party services (hosting providers, plugins, APIs) outside our direct control.

9. Third-Party Links

This website may link to third-party websites (including client project links on the Projects page). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of external websites.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of this website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
